It has come to our attention that after a recent round of updates from Microsoft on an upgraded Windows 10 PC that outgoing email on products such as Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2013 stops working. This NOT an Elive Issue and it is easily resolved.
1. In your new Windows 10 search on the taskbar search for CMD.
2. in the first result "Command Prompt" Right click and select "Run As Administraor"
3. Click yes to " allow this program to make changes to your computer"
4. In the Command Prompt window type "sfc /scannow" and hit enter.
* this process will take 15 - 30 minutes to run and once it completes restart your PC. Once restarted your outgoing email should work again.
* This issue is a known bug with the updates to Windows 10 and ELIVE are not responsible for any results of running this fix.
